Jules is a contemporary artist living in Western Australia. Drawing inspiration from her farming life, journeys through the outback, and the splendour of nature, Jules works predominantly in acrylics and enjoys the process of mark making in many forms. Her work often features sgraffito marks and spatial definition evocative of draftsmen's marks.

 

Jules' work is inspired by nature, but often will develop on that inspiration to an otherworldly representation, creating an imaginative and timeless piece. The pieces develop intuitively as the work flows onto the canvas.

Her work is mostly landscapes, although she also works on botanical based still life subjects when inspired to.

 

In addition to her pieces available for sale, Jules is happy to do commissions works which suit her style.
