We are blessed at The Sound Temple to have Natalie as an advocate, artist and facilitator in the Perth Hills as part of our Common Threads Woven Through Community Project.

Natalie has lived most of her life in rural Western Australia. Growing up in the Great Southern and now living with her husband and two children on their family farm in the Central Wheat belt town of Moora, Western Australia.

Natalie started her creative life studying Fashion and Design (1991) and worked as a clothing pattern maker for various Perth fashion labels. She has exhibited her works locally and interstate and is held in private and public collections.

She has been the recipient of the Lycra DuPont Award in Sydney and the Armidale Wool Awards in NSW. She expanded her learning into a traineeship as a florist and commenced a florist traineeship and worked as a florist until moving back onto the farm.

Natalie now works as a potter and sculptor from her home studio – her practice crosses mediums mainly using clay and discarded materials, salvaged fencing wire and plant materials’ collected from her local environment. Her Inspiration comes from a deep connection and concern for the environment.
