Trudy originally trained as a hot glass artist while exploring the world of sculpture. She finds handbuilding with clay a meditative medium and likes to combine mixed media to add an extra dimension to her pieces.

Women and birds are a reoccurring theme with balance being a key component in her small sculptures.

Trudy is also an art teacher who runs workshops throughout the year from her bushland studio in the Swan Valley.
