Meagan Gardiner
I grew up on a broadacre farm in the Wheatbelt with my parents, Lyall and Diane, and two sisters. Mum and Dad were a dynamic team — Mum encouraged us to explore the world through travel and reading. Dad had an extraordinary ability to notice the natural world and the beauty of the tiny, beautiful things that come together to form it.
My parents have always been big supporters of my work — Dad often turns up with a jar full of shells. “She’ll like this,” he’ll think. “I’ll give this to her”. This means that most of my artworks have a little bit of Lyall in them, too.
Making beautiful, affordable art for everyone is a huge part of my life. Calm your mind by focusing on the tiny details that make up your unique artwork. Choose a piece that speaks to you or create a commission with me — together, we’ll create something beautiful and give special objects a second life
