Wendy’s acute observation of detail and sensitivity to the way light falls create paintings that celebrate West Australian landscapes. The works convey her emotional response to explorations of our coastline, rivers, lakes and bushland.  Wendy has been a prize winner and finalist at many art shows. Her first solo exhibition in 2021, part of Gallows’ Summer Program, proved the popularity of her artworks.

Wendy percieves nature not merely as a backdrop but as a spiritual companion to our human existence, providing both solace and inspiration to thoe who pay attention. She employs a colour palette to evoke a sense of enchantment and translates sensory experiences into form and texture.
