Lori Pensini

Born in 1970, Narrogin Western Australia, Lori Pensini spent her early adult life on her husbands family's cattle station in the Pilbara, Western Australia. She has now relocated her studio to their cattle farm in Boyup Brook, Western Australia.

 

Lori Pensini held her first solo exhibition at Pilbara Fine Arts Gallery in Karratha, WA in 1995 with another 16 soloʼs and 40 group exhibitions proceeding, including a solo exhibition at Monash University,

Prato Italy, 2009. 

 

She is an awarded artist - 2013 Semi finalist in Australiaʼs richest portrait prize, The Doug Moran National Portrait Prize; inclusion into the Contemporary Artists International Volume 5 2013; Artavita California,USA International Awards 2012 Contemporary Landscape Prize for paintings & photography; Winner of the Cossack Art Awards 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001; Geraldton Rotary Art Awards 1997, 1998; Perth Royal Show finalist 1998, 2001; Perth Royal Show winner 2002.

 

Her works are held in both corporate and private collections eg Hammersley Iron, Robe River, Titan Resources, Worsley

Alumina, and throughout many countries. The major part of her creative career has focused on mixed media paintings and drawings. Her current focus extends to include sculpture, design objects, paper art & illustration, 

photography and lighting.
